Ian began his property career managing his family hotel business and real estate assets before founding Dorchester Group. After building a large residential investment portfolio in London, Dorchester Group expanded to other UK cities and sought regeneration opportunities in the UK and abroad.
The acquisition of Heyford Park, a mixed-use site with a residential bias, led to the current Dorchester model of placemaking and large-scale community development. The Dorchester Group are also undertaking the regeneration of Bordon, Hampshire, with Taylor Wimpey.
Ian’s role encompasses business development, funding and investment.
Edward trained with the Royal Navy in Leadership and Soft Skills and holds an Honours degree in Global Business Management. Tatewood is Edward’s brainchild and he believes that there is nothing more important than customer service.
After trying to sell his house he found the service of the agents he used to be below standard. He believes that a lack of personal service is where the estate agency market is failing. He created Tatewood to fill this void.
Edward oversees all aspects of the business and focuses on strategic planning and digital marketing.
In 1971, Barry established his own company Weight Controllers. Within the decade to follow the business was successfully developed and sold to Weight Watchers International, where Barry took a position of European Marketing Director. A year later he acquired the Franchise for Weight Watches Belgium, Holland & Luxembourg and the Netherlands Antilles from Heinz. He then increased the business turnover from £200,000 to £5m.
Barry also made a name for himself in events management. He has developed an award-winning events portfolio, designing a range of exhibitions and conferences in the UK and Europe and produced one of the first concerts for the Rolling Stones and the Royal Albert Hall.
Barry also had a Tulip named after him for his charity work.
“Tatewood were absolutely great. They worked tirelessly to help us out, no matter how trivial or frequent the requests. Would definitely recommend to both buyers and sellers”
“I’ve recently completed the sale of my house with the help of Mark Stern of Tatewood. My house was marketed very professionally and the photographs used were amazing. Mark was extremely efficient and found my buyers after only one week. The whole process took slightly longer but I cannot fault Mark. He was always available for support.
I would highly recommend Tatewood if you are thinking of selling”
“Mark was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout our entire purchase process. He was a complete professional and went above and beyond to make sure we secured our property. Would highly recommend Mark and Tatewood to anyone”
“Rented out my flat in West Drayton, Sam and the Lettings team were fantastic. Only took them 1 week to rent it out, I would highly recommend!”
